Directions

The conference will take place at the University of Franche-Comté, at the address:

16 route de Gray, 25000 Besançon, France

In the campus, find Métrologie building; then Amphi B (Lecture theatre B) which has entrances on the 2nd and the 3rd floor.

There are unfortunately works on the campus. This means amogn others that the parking space next to the building is very limited, and the bigger space "Domaine universitaire" is recommended instead (see the map).

By bus, from the hotel it is easiest to take no.9 at Chamars and get off at "Beaux arts" (at Denis Papin street, with a 3-minute walk afterwards). From the railway station, it would be no.3 till Crous Université (a bit longer walk). The bus no.7 passes just before the building, but to take it one needs to change, both from the hotel and from the station.

Here is the recommended route in detail:

Take bus 9 from the hotel till Beaux Arts. Follow the way indicated in yellow on the map, first by the parking space of the Arts school (just on the right when you leave the bus), then cross the road, continue straight by finding a pedestrian passage among the safety barriers. The building you need will be on the right, enter it from its left side.
For the reception on Monday: go to the 3rd floor  (counting from 0) and follow the corridor until you see the laboratory and its coffee room.
For the lectures: after entering, better take the 2nd or 3rd stairs up to the 2nd floor. You will find then easlity the Amphi B.
